One of the great old pubs of northern England has had a transformation with the arrival of vastly experienced chef Michael Wignall and his wife Joanne. The Angel at Hetton is now firmly back on the gastronomic map with Wignall, who held 2 Michelin stars at his previous restaurant at Pennyhill Park, a determined game lover.
