The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant is new but sufficiently exciting for it to include a mention straightaway. Located at the Glenturret Distillery in Perthshire, Scotland’s oldest working distillery, the Lalique restaurant will be dinner only. However, you can expect game to be one of the star ingredients. The kitchens will be headed up by chef Mark Donald who was, most recently, the head chef at Number One at The Balmoral in Edinburgh but he is no stranger to high-level cooking with spells at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, Noma in Copenhagen and with Claude Bosi at Hibiscus.
